8th Grade Families-We need your help with 8th Grade Activities!

8th grade is a special year and there are several events to look forward to just for them:

·        Dance:  Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Montera MUR (or location TBD)

·        Picnic:  Monday, June 5, 2017 at Roberts Park

·        Promotion: Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Skyline High School

 

Parents and students need to raise money to pay for these events. We are asking each 8th grade family to donate $40 and if you can donate more to help cover those families not able to contribute that would be appreciated. There may be an additional cost for the dance. Donations may be made via:

  • PayPal:  Click on this link 8th Grade Activities Info (or visit Montera Home page and click the 8th Grade Activities Info button on the right side).
  • Checks:  Make your check out to Montera PTO and deliver or mail to: Montera PTO, Montera Middle School, 5555 Ascot Drive Oakland, CA 94611. PLEASE write “Attn: 8th Grade Activities” on the check or envelope.

We will need volunteers for these activities, as well as other fundraising efforts throughout the school year, so look for signup opportunities coming soon. Thanks to all who have already volunteered to help!

Finally, all 8th Graders should have completed and turned in the 8th Grade Activities Information & Expectations Form (yellow form handed out in 8th grade English classes) due September 30, 2016.
