Please join the Montera Parent–Teacher Organization (PTO) Board on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 6–7:30PM in the Multi-Use Room (MUR) to start the year with a delicious pasta feast! Come enjoy dinner, meet other Montera families and learn about future school events coming up this year. All Montera parents and caregivers are strongly encouraged to attend Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, September 21, from 6 – 8 PM. This is a invaluable opportunity to meet your student’s teachers, hear what’s being planned for the coming year and better understand academic expectations. We’ll meet in the Multi-Use Room first to hear briefly from Mr. Avent, and then head out the classrooms. You’ll follow your student’s schedule (bells and all!) starting with the first period class. There will be alphabetized lists of all the students' first period classes outside the MUR. Complete class schedules will be awaiting you in that first period classroom. We look forward to seeing you!
Love baseball, hanging out with friends, fireworks or donating to the school? Be sure to purchase your tickets to the A's game on Friday, September 23 at 6:35pm. Come watch the A’s take on the Texas Rangers at 6:35PM, then stay to watch fireworks from the field. Tickets are $30 per person and benefit Montera. Ticket purchase forms are in the school office.
