Montera is offering parent-led tours during the school day on select Tuesdays and Fridays this fall. Parent-led tours start at 8:30 am in the Montera courtyard outside the school office, and last about 50 minutes concluding back in the courtyard to chat with Montera administrators. No RSVP is required unless you are planning to attend as a large group from a particular school. We will want to make sure we have enough parent tour guides for larger groups if possible. Please mark your calendar!

Parking is available in the back parking lot off of Scout Road or along Ascot Drive. (Please DO NOT park in Joaquin Miller School parking lot next door!)
Please join current Montera Parents and Principal Mr. Avent at John and Marni’s house in the Montclair District of Oakland for coffee, tea and dessert. This is a chance for prospective families to meet casually with current families and ask questions, share concerns, or just get to know other parents considering becoming Toros next year.
Please join Principal Avent, Montera teachers, students, and Montera PTO Board members Wednesday, November 2 from 7:00-8:30 for the Montera Information Night. You will have the opportunity to tour the campus before the meeting (please meet us at the main office at 6:15 pm) as well as learn about the academic programs that engage and challenge the Montera students and the many electives, clubs and sports programs available as well. In addition, Montera has a wide range of after school activities and Eagle Village will be there to further explain their program. Current Montera students will be available for a question/answer session, so please come with questions to ask!
