OUSD Summer Learning seeks to address this barrier to student achievement through dedicated Full Day Summer Programming, aligned with college and career readiness and Common Core standards.

Pre-K Camp & ECE Centers
 
Pre-K camp builds skills & provide opportunities that ensure kindergarten success.
 
Pre-K camp provided in partnership with First 5 California.

Additionally, our Early Childhood Education (ECE) Centers provide summer programming for K-3 children.

K-8 Full Day Hub Model
 
Math and English Language Arts intervention taught by certificated OUSD teachers.
 
We also partner with lead community agencies to provide enrichment and physical activity. A healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided.

HS Academic Recovery
 
Credit Recovery is offered to OUSD high school students for on-time graduation.
 
Charter, private, and non-OUSD students may not apply. Daily attendance is mandatory.
